Former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa and UPFA MP Namal Rajapaksa arrived at the Financial Crime Investigation Division (FCID) this morning after they were summoned to record statements over various allegations.

Police said former defence secretary was summoned in connection with a financial transaction of Rs. 90 million which had taken place when constructing the D.A. Rajapaksa Memorial Museum in Medamulana.

Meanwhile, MP Rajapaksa had been summoned with regard to a case involving the Hi-Corp Company.

This is just only few months until polish people forget their all matters. so do not worry about any cases all are okay. you know our polish people who voted 95 same shed of corrupted people back to parliament from previous regime. so some time you needs this nature of commission to pool the majority and get all items price and tax increase.

So the FCID Is a political victimisation vehicle of pure genius. It looks legitimate and can hound and inconvenience political victims easily. Gota was a man of all action no talk. We saw what he could do with Colombo lifting it far beyond anything in South Asia. Indians came and said the place is better (nicer) than Singapore. We saw what will happen to Colombo in January. Back to the old pedestrian hawker city like Chennai. He loves the country s much as you do otherwise he would not have put his neck on the line orchestrating the strategy to end terrorism. So put him to work again and dont allow him to talk to constituents if that is what you want. It is a travesty of democracy but it is a necessary thing to redevelop our city once more.
