Foreign and local tourists trapped in Minneriya forest

A group of around 29 local and foreign tourists, who were on a visit to Minneriya National park, are trapped inside the forest due to rise of water level in the “Kiri Oya” after heavy rain, police sources said. Police and Wildlife Department said that rescue operation was underway.
