All have been ,in some way or another, patronised bad politicians, and one of them was involved in shipping an outdated canon by air at a phenomenal cost to be fitted to a an equally outdated ship , good for the scrap yard, at an even more phenomenal cost, given to this country as a political gimmick , ending up as a burden of cost to the public. Another former commander violated the law and built his holiday home in a strict natural reserve. What a strange way to reward people for services(questionable) rendered.
