Former JVP MP Anjan Umma who crossed over to the Jathika Nidhas Peramuna led by Minister Wimal Weerawansa has joined the UNP a short while ago.

Anjan Umma has accepted the membership from UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe at an event in Colombo this morning.(YP)

Uummmmah... doubt very much that you can turn those JVP/JNP votes to UNP. To survive and serve UNP you need millions to canvas for votes. Very much doubt that you have that ability, which is not required with JVP / JNP.
