Christmas Eve accidents lower this time
A total of 219 accidents had been reported to the General Hospital on Christmas Eve -a 5 percent decrease from the last Christmas Eve, Hospital sources said today.
The General Hospital’s Public Relations Officer Pushpa Ramyani Soysa said 87 people had been admitted to the hospital from accidents.
“Even the number of admission had been down in comparison to last year. The number of accidents reported from incidents of using fire crackers was also low,” she said.
