Chocolate blade excreted

The piece of blade which an employee of the Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) swallowed together with a bite of chocolate had passed out with his stools, a CAA spokesman told Daily Mirror Online yesterday.

The blade was inside a slab of chocolate the victim had consumed last week. One piece had been stuck in his palate while he accidentally swallowed the second. The third piece remained with the rest of the chocolate.

The CAA spokesman said the piece of blade had passed with his stools on Tuesday morning. Accordingly he was discharged from the Colombo National Hospital where he was warded for five days. Although the victim had escaped unharmed he was subjected to several medical check-ups.

Meanwhile officials of Ceylon Chocolates Ltd., the manufacturers of Kandos chocolate informed that the chocolate in question was not among any of their products. (Yohan Perera)

Are we all ignorant, or don't we care. WTH is the brand of this chocolate? more than adults, children eat chocolates. As parents, don't we have the right to know the manufacturer? Okay now we know it's not Kandos. Is it Edna or Ritzbury or some other brand?

Ideal opportunity for the chococate manufacturer to come up with a new marketing slogan: " Buy our chocolates, SAVE money and have a FREE SHAVE with our blade"

The possibility is there for a saboteur to do this to any manufacturer( confectionery) in a any factory. Therefore this brand should not be crushed to death but very well punished by law. Also don't forget the deaths took place due to Rubella vaccines some time back.

This is magic, one piece of the blade inside the chocolate the other piece inside the stools. The moral of this story is while eating any type of food, one must chew it fully before swallowing.
