A hybrid car heading to Kottawa caught fire at the 54.2 milepost on the Southern Expressway this morning, police said.

Car skidded off the road on the Southern Expressway (E01) and crashed into the security fence which caused the fire, police said.

The car had been completely destroyed. The driver managed to escape the car and he was admitted to the Elpitiya hospital.

Uragaha police are conducting investigations. (Chaturanga Pradeep)

i hired a Van to Galle.
The driver cant even keep the vehicle on the left lane even when there is no vehicle visible in the front.
i noticed that the vehicle was pulling to the right may be due to no wheel balancing but he thinks if he drive fast then vehicle got to be right lane !!
mad guys on the wheel !!
