From the photos it appears to be a bridge built by the British!

The reason it collapsed is because the steel must have rusted and there is no money to be made with bridge maintenance!!

This was built in English era as far as I know & probably not maintained well there after..a ten well vehicle is any way not suitable for a road like this..fortunately something worse than this did not happen.. via DM Android App
