Avant Guard Chairman barred from leaving country

Colombo Chief Magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya restrained Avant Guard Maritime Service (Pvt) Ltd Chairman H. N. Yapa Senadipathi of from leaving the country because of the ongoing investigations into the floating armoury maintained at the Galle port.

Magistrate Pilapitiya issued the restraining order on Mr. Senadipathi on a request made by CID OIC Nishantha De Silva. (T.Farook Thajudeen)
