Action against Shiral, Maithree and Lal

UNP working committee yesterday decided to hold a disciplinary inquiry on Western Provincial Council Member Shiral Laktilleke, Member of the Southern Provincial Council Maithree Gunaratne and Lal Perera on the attack on the party head quarters Siri Kotha last year.

The decision was taken at the party’s working committee meeting chaired by Party Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe last evening.

A disciplinary committee headed by former Minister Tilak Marapana had been appointed for this matter. (Yohan Perera)
