Water supply interrupts in Kaduwela

The water supply in Kaduwela was disrupted today after the bursting of the pipeline carrying water to Colombo from the Kalatuwawa Water Treatment Plant.

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said the pipeline was now being repaired and the water supply would be restored soon.

Several residential areas in the vicinity of the damaged pipeline were also flooded.
