Veteran singer Raju Bandara passes away

Colombo, Jan. 15 (Daily Mirror) - Veteran singer and musician Raju Bandara passed away today at the age of 65, family sources confirmed in Colombo. His death marks the end of a career defined by his soulful contributions to Sri Lanka’s music industry.

Bandara was best known for several popular tracks, including the beloved song 'Ma Adarei Mulu Lowatath Wada', 'Rosa Mal Kumari', 'Ran Malak Lesa Gena Pudannata', Jeevithayata Idadenna.”

He belonged to a distinguished musical family in Sri Lanka, being the son of singer Chandra Bandara and the brother of renowned musician and guitarist Mahinda Bandara.
