Update: Two killed, two injured in Ambalangoda shooting

Two individuals were killed and two others were seriously injured in a shooting in a hotel at Delduwa in Ambalangoda on Sunday night, police said.

The deceased were identified as aged 28 and 33 years old residents of  Ambalangoda. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the shooting and to arrest the suspects.

Police a T-56 weapon used to carry out the shooting.

This is the third shooting that took place in Ambalangoda within a month and three people were killed and two were injured in the previous two shootings, according to the police.
