Upcountry train services remain limited due to landslide

Colombo, Nov. 20 (Daily Mirror) - Train services on the upcountry line remain limited today following a landslide between Ohiya and Idalgashinna, affecting routes from Colombo to Nanu Oya and from Badulla to Bandrawela, the Railways Department confirmed.

As a result, trains scheduled to run from Colombo Fort to Badulla will be diverted to Nanu Oya, while services from Badulla to Colombo will operate via Nanu Oya to Colombo Fort.

Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and stay updated through Sri Lanka Railways.

Railway crews are working to clear the debris caused by the landslide, which has disrupted upcountry train operations.
