UPDATE: Four injured and hospitalized after tree falls on moving bus
Four persons, including a woman, were hospitalized after a tree fell on a bus travelling from Colombo to Deniyaya this morning, police said.
The tree fell on the bus while it was on the move, around 100 metres from the Liberty Roundabout on Duplication Road.
The accident occurred at 6.10 a.m. police said.
The injured were admitted to the Colombo General Hospital.
The road is now being cleared.
