Two shootings in Gampaha and Ahungalla kills one, injured another

A businessman was killed and another person was injured in two separate shootings which took place in Gampaha and Ahungalla today.

Police said the two men who arrived on a motorcycle had opened fire to a bussinessman at Batapotha, Udugampola in Gampaha. He had died on admission to the Gampaha Hospital.

Meanwhile, another two men arrived on a motorcycle had shot a man at Katuwila in Ahungalla.

Police said the victim was admitted to the Balapitiya Hospital with wounds.
