Trio arrested for Rs. 10 Mn ATM robbery



Police have apprehended three individuals involved in the Rs. 10 million ATM robbery that took place in the 10th Mile Post area of Madurankuliya on October 8th, the Police said. 

The robbers managed to break open an automated teller machine (ATM) belonging to a private bank and stole a substantial amount of cash, totaling Rs. 10,549,000.

The suspects were found in possession of more than Rs. 9.27 million in cash, which was believed to be part of the stolen amount. 
The Police also seized a safety helmet and a can of spray paint, which were allegedly used to blind the surveillance camera during the robbery.
