Colombo, Dec. 18 (Daily Mirror) - The total lendings by commercial banks and non-banking institutions in 2024 has exceeded Rs 1 trillion, Opposition MP Ravi Karunanayake told Parliament today. 

MP Karunanayake, who raised a question on the issue, inquired as to how the increasing of debt creation could affect the economy.
