Tense situ created at National Hospital over statement made by GMOF

A tense situation has been created at the Colombo National Hospital (CNH) over a statement given to the media by the Government Medical Officers' Forum (GMOF), hospital sources said.

They said the hospital minor staff had surrounded the office of GMOF President Dr. Rukshan Bellana.

While addressing the media yesterday, Dr. Bellana issued a statement claiming that hospital minor staff employees used to be involved in drug businesses, and most of them are addicted to drugs. (Chaturanga Pradeep Samarawickrama)
