Swiss reject two flyover requests from US for flights related to Iran war, permits three others

March 15 - (Reuters) - The Swiss government said on Saturday that ‌it discussed requests by U.S. military and official aircraft to fly over the country, and based on its law of neutrality, rejected two Iran-related war ⁠flights but permitted three others.

"The law on neutrality prohibits overflights by parties to the conflict that serve a military purpose related to the conflict. Permitted are humanitarian and medical transits, including the transport of wounded persons, as ‌well ⁠as overflights that are unrelated to the conflict," the government said in a statement.

The three approved requests were applicable to ⁠two transportation and one maintenance aircraft.

Switzerland also said future requests for overflights would be ⁠rejected if they exceed normal traffic, and if the purpose of ⁠these overflights cannot be determined.

Possibly, the threat of increasing tariffs might prevent the EU from commenting. Everyone is scared of Trump, and he has a reputation of taking revenge against anyone who crosses or criticises him!

No one talks about the more than thirty to sixty thousand Iranian anti-government protesters and their families including children massacred by Iran in one day by the khameni regime. But the "aragalaya" was acceptable because you "suffered" under a corrupt regime, even though your freedoms and human rights were never taken away. You talk about 1800 casualties of this war. If USA and Israel were neutral too, imagine the take over by Iran and it's proxies. There is no benefit for either Muslims , Jews or anyone else (proven by the oct 7th attacks by hamas) with blood thirsty theocraric regimes who believe they are God-ordained to call modernization, basic freedoms and human rights, satanic. Simultaneously, these same hypocritical, corrupt leaders are billionaires, owning ultra luxury hotels and other real estate in western nations.
