Suspected gunman in Weligama Chairman murder arrested in Maharagama
Colombo, Oct. 26 (Daily Mirror) - The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID), with support from the State Intelligence Service (SIS), have arrested a suspect believed to be the shooter in the murder of Weligama Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman Lasantha Wickramasekera.
The arrest took place in the Nawinna area of Maharagama during a joint operation, police said.
