Colombo, April 4 (Daily Mirror) - The sun is expected to be directly over Sri Lanka from April 5 to April 15, as a result of its apparent northward relative motion, the Forecasting Division of the National Meteorological Centre said.
Accordingly, the nearest areas in Sri Lanka where the sun will be directly above are Balapitiya, Elpitiya, Morawaka and Tissamaharama at around 12:12 noon, the Department said.
Meanwhile, showers would occur at several places in the Western and Sabaragamuwa Provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts after 2 p.m. Showers may occur at a few places in the North-Western Province and in the Nuwara-Eliya district during the afternoon or night.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Central and Sabaragamuwa Provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts during the morning.

It's hot as hell already. Imagine when this happens. Hope the health ministry issues an advisory to keep students, sick and elderly safe during this heat.
