Summoning cricketers to the CID without any preliminary investigation conducted by the International Cricket Council (ICC), could bring unnecessary disgrace to the country, former MP Namal Rajapaksa tweeted.

This is a terrible injustice to our cricketing heroes of yesteryear. This is also an insult to them brought by a former sports minister . A person who has several court cases against him. His hands are not clean. GR/MR must take action against him.
