State Minister of Primary Health Care, Epidemics, and COVID-19 Disease Control Dr. Sudarshini Fernandopulle has decided to cancel her son's wedding reception which was scheduled to be held at a five-star hotel in Colombo this evening, family sources said.

The wedding reception has been cancelled due to the prevailing COVID-19 situation in the country.

However, the wedding mass will be held at a church with the participation of close relatives giving priority to strict health guidelines. (Sheain Fernandopulle)
