Sri Lankans have shown solidarity with disaster affected people by donating blood

Colombo, Dec. 5 (Daily Mirror) - The Sri Lankan people have shown solidarity with the disaster hit people by generously donating blood, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake told Parliament today.
"People have donated 20,000 units of blood though Blood Bank wanted 1 500 units. This is the kind of solidarity shown by the people of Sri Lanka," the President said.
