Sri Lanka extends sympathies to all those affected by fire in Switzerland

Colombo, January. 3 (Daily Mirror) - Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath said he was deeply saddened to learn of the devastating fire in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, which has resulted in the tragic loss of many lives and injuries to several others.

He said in a post on X that "On behalf of the government and people of Sri Lanka, I convey sincere condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones and extend my sympathies to all those affected by this tragedy. My thoughts are also with the injured, and I wish them strength and a swift recovery,"

Herath said that at this difficult moment, he reaffirms Sri Lanka’s solidarity with the Government and the people of Switzerland.
