Sri Lanka-India power grid will be connected through a high voltage line: Minister

Colombo, Nov. 20 (Daily Mirror) - The Sri Lankan and Indian power grid will be connected through a high voltage line, Minister of Power and Energy Kumara Jayakody told Parliament today.
Winding up the debate on his Ministry expenditure head in the House, the Minister said both countries are working on it.
"We will ensure that power will be exchanged at a best rate where Sri Lanka is concerned," he added.
