Special committee to be appointed for restructuring tri-forces: Deputy Minister

Colombo, Nov. 18 (Daily Mirror) - A special committee will be appointed next year for the restructuring of the tri-forces, Deputy Minister of Defence Major General (Rtd) Aruna Jayasekara said today.

He told Parliament that the committee will be appointed under the instructions of the President.

The Deputy Minister said the government has paid attention to the restructuring of the tri-forces within the next five years in line with national security and economic development.
