Social Media activist Darshana Handungoda was released on bail by the Colombo Fort Magistrate's Court today.

He was arrested by a special team of the Computer Crimes Investigation Division upon his arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) from Dubai last night.

I have to agree with Chandra. NPP is the only alternative. Because SJB UNP SLPP = 1. Whatever JVP did in the past, they did for a reason, it does not matter now. All that matter is we vote some educated people with the right policies to move forward.

Those who wish that JVP aka NPP would be a good choice are mainly those with no idea about their overall governance tactics. They have vowed to fully implement 13A, technically dividing Sri Lanka, Balkanising it as per wishes of USA, India etc. 13A was introduced illegally and under duress with Indian warship berthed in Colombo harbour as a surreptitious threat to the sovereignty of Sri Lanka. it was adopted without presenting to either Parliament OR the people of Sri Lanka. Hence it is an ILLEGAL amendment forced on Sri Lanka by India. it should really be abolished. IF all political parties agree to bring a unanimous resolution to Parliament to abolish 13A. GREAT!. Dharshana revealed corruption and underhand deals of high profile ministers and government officials. Haven't seen any rebuttals from the opposites. When he revealed Sarah F's usage of leased car without paying leases over 18 months, his explanation was very poor and flimsy. Therefore, what Dharshana says has value. Hope he will be acquitted soon.
