Seven arrested for partying violating quarantine laws
Seven suspects, including two women have been arrested by the Western Province South Crimes Division for organising a party which is on contrary to quarantine laws.
Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said a manager of the guest house has also been arrested.
He said the police had received an alert regarding the said party at around 8.00 pm last night and the party had been going on till 11.00 am this morning when the police team reached the location.
The Police team found 5gms of Ice (Methamphetamine) in possession of one suspects, a resident of Ampitiya, Kandy.
The DIG said parties, gatherings and celebrations have been strictly prohibited.
