The Education Ministry has declared a school holiday for government and government-approved private schools tomorrow (17) as a special holiday due to the transportation difficulties.

Will these transport difficulties be solved tomorrow? It looks more likely that the schools will remain closed next week also and may be for an indefinite period of time. This government has destroyed the country's education system as well.

Our kids didnt go to school for 3 months last year. And now more and more holidays which will end up in creating uneducated sociecty in another 10 yrs. As a well educated PM, Mr. Ranil Wickremesinghe don't destroy our children's future.

By the looks of it, the fuel issue is gonna worsen by the day, therefore I think its high time that Ministry of Education seriously consider going back to ''Online Classes'' as done during COVID for schools which can accommodate that. When the rhythm of attending classes breaks in between, the students lose the momentum resulting in less interest.
