Leader of Opposition Sajith Premadasa will be appointed as the Prime Minister in the event MP Dullas Allahaperuma is elected as President, SJB General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara said today.

Madduma Bandara said this will be done in accordance with the agreement which Mr. Premadasa struck with Mr. Allahaperuma.

The SJB parliamentarian claimed that Mr. Alahapperuma has sufficient support to be elected as the new President.

It is expected that a multi party government will be formed in the event Mr. Alahaperuma is elected as the President. (Yohan Perera)

Isn't it sound ridiculers that SJB (Sajith) supporting SLPP (Dullas), while SLPP is supporting UNP (Ranil). I prefer Ranil for next 2 years as President with AKD as PM, then Ranil quitting politics
