Sack with suspected narcotics found on Bentota beach

Colombo, Nov. 18 (Daily Mirror) - A sack suspected to contain narcotics was found on the shores of the Bentota beach this morning, police said.

It is reported that nearly 20 to 25 kilograms of substances, suspected to be narcotics, are inside the sack.

Police suspect that the sack has been washed ashore and recovered during a routine coastal check. 

Investigations are underway to identify the type of drugs and their origin.
