Unp and Sjb both are on the same boat and day by day sinking . Both leaders will be fade away in future. Use less and not worth both parties.

bunch of jokers. Who cares whether they marry or divorce. These 2 parties have been taught a good lesson by the people. Now struggling to get out of the coffin. Until the leaders are sent home, these 2 parties have no future in this country.

The heading “ SJB working committee approves move to work with UNP“ contradicts the body in the last paragraph “Sajith said the UNP is welcome to work as an ally of the SJB in accordance with the resolution”. There is already disagreement in the simple press release as to to who called the other to be part of this alliance. Anyway, I think this alliance had to happen to counter the growing popularity of the NPP despite the oppositions claim that the country is in turmoil. What the country needs is not a good government only like the NPP but a strong and sensible Opposition. Alliances are being formed to counter the corruption investigations too, which many of the opposition politicians are being implicated.
