Colombo, January 1 (Daily Mirror) - The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) today called for the holding of Provincial Council elections as soon as possible during the New Year.

SJB General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara told a media briefing that his party is gearing up for the Provincial Council elections this year.

Also, he hinted that unity among opposition parties will also be established in 2026.
