Resignation of SriLankan Airlines Chairman, appointment flawed from day one: Harsha

Colombo, March 31 (Daily Mirror) - The appointment of Sarath Ganegoda was flawed from day one, as it involved a massive conflict of interest, SJB MP Dr. Harsha de Silva said.

“Not just Sarath Ganegoda, but also other Hayleys senior executives are running SriLankan Airlines with overlapping interests in aviation services, logistics and more. But there is worse… what about Hulangamuwa and Ernst & Young? Some will say, ‘Oh! Harsha is biased!’ So I won’t say anything. At the same time, kudos to Hans Wijesuriya, who is doing it right,” Dr. de Silva said in a message posted on X.
