‘Rebuilding Sri Lanka’ housing project to launch tomorrow

Colombo, January 8 (Daily Mirror) - The inauguration of the housing project under the ‘Rebuilding Sri Lanka’ initiative, aimed at constructing new homes and providing compensation to those who lost their residences due to Cyclone Ditwah, is scheduled to commence tomorrow (09) in the Anuradhapura and Kurunegala districts.

The Presidential Media Division said the ceremony will be held under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

Housing projects for disaster-affected families will be launched in Galnewa and Rajanganaya in Anuradhapura District, and Nikaweratiya and Rideegama in Kurunegala District.
