Ranil to be summoned to CID on Wednesday

Colombo, June 9 (Daily Mirror) - Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe has been summoned to the CID on Wednesday (11), his office said in a statement.

Wickremesinghe has been summoned with regard to a complaint lodged by Former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella. The complaint has been made on the import of pharmaceuticals.

Keheliya may be pointing the finger at Ranil. I wonder if Keheliya is now saying that Ranil approved the import of the drugs having checked everything. A smart move to drag Ranil too into it. Ranil on the other hand is too cunning and will know how to escape.

Is this a case?, there are more grave cases. Convictions also for petty cases, not for severe offences they were responsible for. If properly procecuted for major cases like Easter carnage independently, the concerned bunch for almost all big thefts or murders would be imprisoned for life and save courts time and money without these eyewashes being ochestrated for petty controvicial individual cases.

No. Others knew SLPP had a massive Parliamentary majority and would have to dance to their tune as Ranil did, and allow corruption to be rampant. Ranil yearned for 15 years to become President and even two weeks was enough to say he was President even for a day. He never loved SL ,only himself.
