He is the only honest and the brave among all the Sinhalese public figures. Unlike other politicians who suck up to India, he doesn’t give a damn about India. Of all those planing to contest the next presidential elections , none of them are fit enough to match him in any shape or form. How lucky Sri Lanka would be if he contests and get elected as the next President of Sri Lanka.

If not for Arjuna standing up for his “ crooked “ balling in Australia , he would have been thrown out of the cricket long time ago. But still he is not grateful to Arujuna nor to Sri Lanka. He lives in India and has completely ignored his former cricketing mates in Sri Lanka. These Indian Estate Tamils have no loyalty to Sri Lanka. If they had not been working in our estates they would have all perished due to starvation in the dangerously overcrowded India. But still they support India and not Sri Lanka.This is why I have been saying for long time “ Upcountry Indian Tamils are a British problem, they brought them in chains to do the “brainless” tea leaf picking in our estates, now we don’t need them anymore and they must get back to India where they belong”. Sri Lanka only belongs to the Sinhalese, the Northern Tamils , and the Muslims.

Premadasa , Kandy - What a racist comment. I do not see any of us Sinhalese going to pluck tea leaves in tea plantations because apparently they are odd jobs. But when it comes to talking about how amazing Ceylon Tea is, everyone has things to say. The reasons Ceylon Tea is so good is because we use people to pluck and not machines. They are NOT indian estate tamils, they are Sri Lankan Tamils. You and our current politicians are no different. May your life turn into shit to understand the suffering others go through to be where they are.

Premadasa, South India until recently was the most industrialised state in India, now second place after Gujarat . Also it will be a short time before Tamil Nadu will be so prosperous that we will be sending our women to work as maids in a prosperous India competing with Nepalese for the same jobs. I saw more Shingalese maids all working illegally in Kuala Lumpur on a recent visit and no Indian maids at all.
