Ramanathan Archchuna granted bail

Colombo, April 29 (Daily Mirror) - The Mallakam Magistrate’s Court today granted bail to Jaffna District Member of Parliament Dr. Ramanathan Archchuna, who had been arrested by the Ilavalai Police on April 27.

The MP was taken into custody and remanded over allegations of threatening a woman while in possession of a firearm.

The court ordered that Archchuna be released on two surety bails.
