Rajitha transferred to Prisons Hospital

MP Rajitha Senaratne who was under police custody at the Lanka Hospital has been transferred to the Prisons Hospital, the Prison Department said.

Sources said that the Prisons Chief Medical Officer who visited Rajitha Senaratne at the Lanka Hospital yesterday had reportedly recommended the transfer of Dr Senaratne to the Prisons Hospital.

Dr Senaratne was arrested over organising the ‘white van’ press conference and was remanded till December 30.
