March 9 (The Times of Israel) - Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulates Mojtaba Khamenei on his appointment as Iran’s new leader, the Kremlin says.

Putin says he is confident Khamenei will continue his father’s work “with honor” and unite the Iranian people “in the face of severe trials.”

He adds that Russia will continue to stand by Tehran, saying he wished to “confirm unwavering support for Tehran and solidarity with our Iranian friends.”

USSR's Stalin also showed compassion to about 1.6 million Russians in his gulags, and to another 2 -3 million in exile systems. According to some higher estimates, the total number is about 10 millions. He and his system always carried a good heart.

Mojtaba Khamenei is just a ruthless butcher as his eleminated father, who is being congratulated here by another such butcher and war criminal. His end is near, and he knows it. Hopefully, the Sri Lankan government will be wise enough to refrain from congratulating this tyrant on his appointment.

Putin says " Russia stands by Iran ", so what was he doing all these days when America and Israel patently and arrogantly violated all the international laws and conventions covering security of independent nations and cold bloodedly bombed and killed hundreds of Iranian civilians and it's supreme leader and his family members. It is funny both these criminal countries have not stopped their carnage and are still continuing while Putin is making the statement. Putin has carefully cultivated a " strong man image " to the outside world and convinced them . Now only it is becoming patently clear that he is a very weak man who is not fit to be the leader of the militarily very powerful Russia. The mighty military strength of Russia is not being used at all neither for deterrence nor for action except in Ukraine . It is in the interest of the third world countries if some strong Russian leader replaces this weak man who "worships" the madman Trump as soon as possible.
