Public services at ID office resume this morning

Colombo, March 24 (Daily Mirror)- The Department for Registration of Persons announced today that all public services which were suspended due to a sudden breakdown of the computer system, have resumed from 11 am today.

The Department yesterday announced that all public services, including the One-Day Service at the Head Office and all Provincial Offices of the Department for Registration of Persons will be suspended today due to a sudden technical failure in the computer system.
