President reviews final draft of 2026 budget proposals

Colombo, Nov. 6 (Daily Mirror) - President Anura Kumara Dissanayake reviewed the final draft of the 2026 Budget proposals last night (05) at the Presidential Secretariat.

Secretary to the Ministry of Finance, Dr. Harshana Suriyapperuma, was also present during the discussion.

The 2026 Budget, which represents the second budget of the current government, is scheduled to be presented to Parliament tomorrow (07) by President Dissanayake in his capacity as the Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development.
