Colombo, March 8 (Daily Mirror)- President Ranil Wickremesinghe has convened a party leaders meeting on Monday to discuss the International Monetary Fund's proposals with its high level delegation, the President's Media Division (PMD) said.
The meeting has offered a chance to accepted opposition party leaders in Parliament to discuss the International Monetary Fund's proposals with its high level delegation, the PMD added.
Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa, leader of the National People's Power (NPP) Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Tamil National Alliance (TNA) leader Sivagnanam Sridharan have been invited to participate in these discussions.
The individuals interested in joining the discussion have been given the opportunity to participate alongside the invited leaders, the PMD said.

The IMF is a modern way for these white Europeans to trap us in forever debt. First, these Europeans destroyed our economy by using traitors in our country. These Europeans knew we would then come to ask for money, and now they have enslaved us again. These Western countries are rich because of their stealing for thousands of years. He is not to be trusted, especially when he is attempting to legitimize his position in the eyes of IMF officials and the international community.

Useless this meeting of incompetent politicians. Other countries have managed to get out of an economic crisis without resorting to the help of the IMF with the help of highly qualified economic experts. But due to the previous regime's resistance to advice, Sri Lanka's only option was to go to the IMF. But even with the help of the IMF, the economic situation will not improve without the help of qualified international economic experts. The Ranil regime is also resistant to advice in this regard. It doesn't even listen to the experts here in the country.

The non productive sector in SL - politicians professionals urban population are using lot of dollars for imports. Where as the productive sector , the rural poor hardly use any dollars. So the foreign debt is mainly due to life styles of unproductive sector
