’President assures us that PC elections will be held’: Rasamanickam

Colombo, Nov. 19 (Daily Mirror) - President Anura Kumara Dissanayake assured the Illankai Tamil Arasu Katchi (ITAK) this afternoon that the Provincial Council elections will be held, said MP Shanakiyan Rasamanickam.

The MP told Parliament that the ITAK MPs met the President at the Presidential Secretariat this afternoon.

"We respect the President because he met us today. We understand what the President has told us. The President clearly told us that the PC elections will be held," he said.
