Parliament will be dissolved after March 3, 2020

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa said parliament will be dissolved after March 3, 2020, and will go for the general election.

Amending of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution was a serious mistake and it would be a barrier to the future of the country. 

He said this when responding to questions raised by foreign journalists during a meeting held at the Presidential Secretariat today.
