Colombo, June 23 (Daily Mirror) - Parliament unanimously approved the proposal to reduce the Value Added Tax (VAT) and the Social Security Contribution Levy (SSCL) from Rs.60 million to Rs.36 million. 

The proposal was approved without a vote.
