Opposition calls for public views on budget

Colombo, Nov. 6 (Daily Mirror) - The opposition has decided to call for public opinion on the budget in order to ensure an effective debate.

Chief Opposition Whip Gayantha Karunatilaka told the media that the public will be asked to send in their ideas via [email protected] or WhatsApp 0702067296.

"We will highlight the sentiments of public views during the committee stage of the debate," MP Karunatilaka said.

First they want to educate their MPs on the budget (Arithmetic) and not want public opinion. A opposition that is lost or dose not exist.

THE LEADER (OPERATING FROM THE BACK SEAT AND OR BEHIND CLOSED DOORS) HAS LOST HIS MARBLES AFTER BEING RELEASED FROM HOSPITAL RECENTLY. WITH ALL THESE SO CALLED OPPOSITION MINISTERS AND MP'S IN AND OUT OF GOVT, DO THEY NOT HAVE THE MENTAL CAPACITY TO USE THEIR GOD GIVEN BRAINS AND GIVE THE PUBLIC A DRAFT OF THEIR 2026 BUDGET ( IF THEY WERE IN GOVT), INSTEAD OF ASKING THE OPINION OF THE PUBLIC?.
