Online education for schools in Colombo City limits next week: Ministry

A school holiday has been announced for all government and government approved private schools in the Colombo city limits next week, the Education Ministry Secretary said.

He said permission was granted to continue the teaching practices through the online system.

He also requested the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) not to impose power cuts during the day time in the week.

The Secretary has given authority for principles in other provinces to take decisions based on their requirements.
